Message from the Founding Chair

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is our great pleasure to invite you to the International Symposium on Sustainable Aviation (ISSA), which will be held in hybrid form from October 30th to November 1st, 2024.

Aviation is regarded as one of the main sources of environmental problems and is considered to have enormous potential for future sustainable and advanced solutions. Current trends in aviation present a major obstacle to further sustainable development in economic, social, and environmental perspectives. Sustainable aviation is a long-term strategy aimed at providing innovative solutions to the challenges the aviation industry is facing.

Since we are in the age of constant progress in aviation, we would like to invite researchers, scientists, industrial partners, policy makers and students to this international symposium to exchange knowledge and expertise, as well as present new technologies and advancements and discuss the future strategies and priorities in the field of aviation sustainability. ISSA aims to address a broad range of aviation issues, with particular emphasis on sustainable environmental issues.

ISSA will include a variety of opening presentations, specialist sessions, and oral presentation sessions on different topics related to sustainability in aviation. We look forward to seeing you in Belgrade at this extraordinary event!

Sincerely,
T. Hikmet Karakoç
(Symposium Founding Chair).
